About Alaska Trees
Owner Daniel Rhoads has been growing and supplying high-quality trees and plants in Alaska for over 25 years. After originally operating in Anchorage, he returned to his roots in the Mat-Su Valley to bring his business closer to his family. Alaska Trees & Nursery now consists of multiple farms where they cultivate native trees, shrubs, perennials, and acclimate non-native plants for Alaska’s unique climate.
For over 25 years, Alaska Trees & Nursery has been supplying high-quality trees, shrubs, and perennials for large commercial landscaping projects and homeowners alike. Our specialty is Alaska native plants, but we also provide a full nursery of cold-hardy ornamentals that thrive in our unique climate. From backyard gardens to large-scale revegetation efforts, we’re committed to offering affordable, resilient plant solutions across the state.
Our nursery, conveniently located on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway, is stocked with everything you need to transform your property into a thriving, self-sustaining landscape. We’re passionate about fruit-bearing trees, berry plants, and edible perennials, helping Alaskans grow their own food and enjoy the benefits of a productive, eco-friendly garden.
